The National Park of the East, La Romana!

The National Park of the East is located in La Romana, it is one of the most beautiful areas of the Dominican Republic, it is an extremely beautiful and interesting place.

This interesting park is located in the southeast of the country and is home to more than 500 varieties of flowers and 300 species of birds, and has long stretches of beaches where you can snorkel in the coral reefs populated by manatees, dolphins and numerous other marine creatures.

It has an area of ​​430 m2 and its average temperature throughout the year is about 26 oC, with 1,300 mm of annual rainfall.

It has three different climatic zones (tropical humid forest, subtropical dry forest and transition forest), this place is an extraordinary place of exuberant vegetation and mysterious caves adorned with symbols of the indigenous gods.

In the Guaraguao sector, a nucleus located almost on the same coast, there is a series of pre-Columbian paintings of a population that lived here more than five hundred years ago.

In the rest of the caves, structures created by stalactites and stalagmites delight visitors who constantly visit them.
